I got my start in photography through a passion for live music and wanting to capture the atmosphere of a good live show. Soon after I expanded out into club/social/events photos. I never thought I’d end up working in wedding photography, but after shooting a friend’s wedding as a favour and having an absolute ball while taking photos that they and their guests absolutely loved, I decided that this was something I wanted to do seriously. It’s fantastic to play a small role in the the most important day of a couple’s life; providing stunning images of memories that they’ll treasure forever.

For a wedding I like to mix journalistic/candids with posed portraits photos, I’ll try to stay out of your way and just let you get on with your day. It’ll rush by in a flash, believe me! I’m relaxed, friendly and professional at all times, one thing less to stress about on your wedding day. I also offer an engagement shoot where we can get to know each other and the two of you can get comfortable in front of my lens.

I work with my wife Emily, who looks after the business side of things and keeps me organised. On the wedding day she also acts as my assistant, looking after my gear so I can concentrate on getting the absolute best photos of you and your guests.

I’m based in Sydney’s inner west but can travel pretty much anywhere (including destination weddings!) upon arrangement.
